A Night To Remember:
Country Roads Take Me Home
There is something special about a country road. It has a way of slowing us down, reminding us where we came from, and leading us home. This evening, that road tells a much bigger story—the story of God's faithfulness.
Just one year ago, On Eagle's Wings Farm was little more than a dream that God had planted in our hearts. We knew He was calling us to create a place where children and families could find refuge, restoration, and renewal, but we had no idea how incredible the journey would become. We simply chose to take one faithful step after another, trusting that God would make a way.
And He has.
Over the past year, what was once a vision has become a living ministry. Rooms have been restored. Barns have echoed with laughter instead of silence. Fences have been repaired. Pastures have come alive. The arena has welcomed children discovering confidence, volunteers serving with joyful hearts, and churches uniting around a common mission. Everywhere we look, we see evidence that God is writing a story far greater than we could have imagined.
The farm has become exactly what we prayed it would be—a place where people feel like they belong.
Throughout this first year, hundreds of children, teenagers, adults, volunteers, churches, businesses, and community partners have stepped onto this property. Together they have worshiped, prayed, served, laughed around bonfires, celebrated baptisms, mentored young people, planted gardens, restored buildings, cared for animals, and built friendships that will last a lifetime.
We have watched lives change.
We have watched people who felt forgotten discover that they are deeply loved.
We have watched brokenness begin to give way to hope.
We have watched strangers become family.
None of this happened because of one person or one organization. It happened because God brought together an incredible community of people who believed that every child deserves a place to belong and every family deserves the opportunity to experience hope.
Every volunteer who painted a fence.
Every donor who gave generously.
Every church that showed up ready to serve.
Every sponsor who invested in this vision.
Every prayer that was whispered on behalf of this ministry.
Every hour given has become part of a story that only God could write.
Yet as remarkable as this first year has been, we truly believe it is only the beginning.
Our vision reaches far beyond the buildings you see today. We believe God is preparing this farm to become a lasting refuge for children in foster care, sibling groups searching for stability, young mothers needing support, families pursuing restoration, and young people longing to know their identity and purpose in Christ.
In the years ahead, we envision additional homes where families can experience healing together. We see expanded equine-assisted ministry, mentoring, counseling, discipleship, educational opportunities, and spaces intentionally designed for worship, community, and restoration. We see children learning responsibility through caring for animals, discovering confidence through new experiences, and hearing—for perhaps the very first time—that they are loved unconditionally by both God and His people.
We believe this farm will continue to be a place where lives are restored, families are strengthened, and generations are changed.
That vision cannot be built by one family alone.
It will be built by a community.
It will be built by churches.
It will be built by businesses.
It will be built by volunteers.
It will be built by faithful people who choose to say "yes" whenever God invites them to be part of something bigger than themselves.
Tonight, as we gather for A Night To Remember, we celebrate far more than a successful first year. We celebrate the goodness of God. We celebrate His provision. We celebrate every life already touched, and we celebrate the countless lives still waiting to experience hope because of what begins here.
Thank you for believing in this mission. Thank you for walking this country road with us. Thank you for helping create a place where every child and every family can one day hear the words they have longed for their entire lives:
Welcome Home.
